2006

Kumho Tire returns for its third season in the American Le Mans Series with a multi-car effort in the LMP2 class. After capturing class wins at Sebring, Lime Rock and Road America in 2005, the highlight of Kumho’s 2006 season was undoubtedly the company’s third place finish in LMP2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Miracle Motorsports. In 2007, B-K Motorsports and Van der Steur Racing will return for a second season with Kumho, while Intersport Racing will compete for the first time on Kumhos.

2005

The 2005 season was KUMHO’s greatest introduction into professional sports car racing. Given only two months of development time before the first race, KUMHO hit a home run by winning one of the greatest jewels in sports car endurance racing, the 12 Hours of Sebring. This momentum was carried throughout the entire season with victories at Lime Rock and Road America, and second place finishes at Infineon, Mosport, and Laguna Seca. KUMHO also had the opportunity to participate in the greatest sport car endurance race of all, the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Miracle Motorsports.
