Replacement of two tires: Kumho Tire recommends replacing all four tires at the same time. However, when only two tires are replaced, the new tires should be put on the rear. The newer tires, with deeper tread, may provide better grip and water evacuation in wet driving conditions.
Mixing tire manufacturers or models can cause the vehicle to ride differently, depending on the location of the tire.
When replacing existing tires, note that different categories like Performance, Touring and Grand Touring have their own characteristics and are not designed to perform the same.
Changing performance categories and/or performance ranges can change the way the vehicle performs and can increase noise, harshness, and vibrations (NHV). You should NOT have tires installed that do not meet the requirements of the vehicle.
